I have always had an affinity for designing and working with wood, trees and structures, both standing and fallen have become objects of my attention. In the process of designing furniture, I now find myself collecting these materials and using them to create new viable and unusual works of functional art. I feel as though reclaiming and reusing these wonderful elements both exemplifies the beauty of the environment and in a small way preserves and honors both.
